Couple Couldn’t Be Happier When Welcome First Christmas With Miracle Triplets

The story of Laura and Roy Donegan and their «miracle» triplets is heartwarming and inspiring. After several attempts at IVF treatment, Laura gave birth to Scarlett, Max, and Troy prematurely on June 26. The triplets were born six weeks and four days early via an elective Cesarean section, and Laura required a transfusion after losing a significant amount of blood during the birth. Despite their premature birth, the triplets and their mother were able to leave the hospital without the need for time in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Now, as they celebrate their first Christmas together as a family of five, the Donegan family is cherishing their precious babies, who will turn six months old on Boxing Day. Laura expressed their initial concern for the health of the triplets during her pregnancy but was relieved that they were born healthy. She described their journey to parenthood as a long one, with four rounds of IVF treatment.

The early months of parenthood were demanding, as the triplets required feeding eight times a day, with each feeding taking one-and-a-half hours. Additionally, the couple faced the challenge of moving to a new home in Reading, closer to their family, just twelve weeks after the birth.

Despite the challenges, the couple received support from the charity «Multiple Milestones,» which assists parents with three or more babies. The charity helped them establish routines for feeding and bathing the triplets and provided guidance on preparing for Roy’s return to work.

The Donegan family celebrated Christmas with visiting family members in their new home, marking a special and joyous occasion as they cherish their beautiful and healthy triplets, a true blessing after their journey to parenthood.
